Health Canada is the department of the government of Canada with responsibility for national public health.

Integrated Real Property Information System (IRPIS)

The Real Property and Facilities Management Division identified the need to conduct a User Requirement Assessment, which would form the basis for a project to:

  • Create an integrated system to manage real property information
  • Assume responsibility for facilities information management functions currently provided by Pubic Works Government Services Canada (PWGSC)
  • Support other real property management functions to meet cost reduction strategies and Treasury Board Policy and audit recommendations

Esper provided a senior business analyst who prepared a user requirements and functional specification, as well as a gap analysis that identified the major deficiencies of the existing system. Esper also prepared a project schedule and substantive cost estimates.
