   Terracotta Figure of Harpokrates
The child is sitting, wearing the Pschent or Double Crown of Upper and Lower Egypt between two lotus buds and wearing the sidelock of youth.
He is holding an amphora under his left arm and has the right forefinger in his mouth.

From the Egyptian HAR-PA-KHERED - literally «Horus the child» - the Greeks created the name Harpokrates. In the Pyramid Texts the god is once called «Horus the child with his finger in his mouth» the gesture might refers to his birth and upbringing in secret by his mother Isis or is a simple gesture of childhood.
Hollow Moulded Terracotta figurines were frequently placed as votive offerings in temples and also were worshipped in house shrines as 'personal' religion in Graeco-Roman Egypt.

   Oval striated agate intaglio engraved with a divine double-bust :
a female head with an elephant trunk, Alexandria (?) and a bearded man Serapis (?) emerging at the junction of the neck
This intaglio exhibits a confluence of traditions combining features belonging to the Egyptian and Greek mythology.
Serapis was a Hellenistic-Egyptian God created when efforts were made to integrate Egyptian religion with that of their Greek rulers.
