GIS Integration Strategy Project (GISP)
Esper performed detailed requirements analysis and prepared the strategy for the integration of two disparate Geographic Information Systems (GIS): the Infrastructure Management System (IMS) based on Intergraph’s GeoMedia Pro and WebMap and the Land and Geographic Information System (LGIS) based on MapInfo Corporation’s MapInfo Pro and MapXtreme. Recommendations were made on an approach to integrate the two systems using Oracle Spatial and common Web technologies. Esper also built a prototype application to demonstrate the feasibility of rebuilding the existing Web applications using Oracle Spatial and Oracle MapViewer.

Real Property Geographic Information System (RPGIS)
Esper advised the project team on Oracle Spatial, MapViewer and other GIS products such as Intergraph GeoMedia WebMap and MapInfo MaxXtreme. The objective was to develop a spatial platform where desktop GIS tools from multiple vendors can interoperate over an Oracle Spatial database. This project followed from the acceptance of the recommendations put forth by Esper during the GISP study.
